Redesigned the Travel Edge intranet to resolve a few issues around the organization of information, the ease of finding information and the aligning the overall design with the branding.

Redesigned the Travel Edge intranet to resolve a few issues around the organization of information, the ease of finding information and the aligning the overall design with the branding.

The main goal was to make sure that the features and functionalities of the intranet was providing value to the business.

Travel agents were looking for something that was user-centric and functional so that they could get their work done efficiently. Visually reorganizing and consolidating some of the pages helped with this effort. The idea for tile-focused navigation was derived from interviews done with a select group of travel agents as part of a larger research initiative. Adding images to the tiles and background added to the overall look and feel of Travel Edge as a travel-based company. Larger font-sizes and descriptive call-to-actions were introduced to bring clarity and help the purpose of the dashboard, which is to direct agents quickly to what they’re looking for.
